Bundesmarine Issue & History
This jacket, known as the Colani or Bordjacke, was made in 2003 by military contractor WAHLER for the German Navy. Issued for shipboard duty in cold maritime climates, it is a double-breasted overcoat. Weatherproof Gabardine Shell
The outer shell is made from a durable navy gabardine blend of 55% polyester and 45% wool. This tight twill weave is treated with a fluorocarbon impregnation (FCH-impr.) that repels water, oil, and dirt. A smooth viscose lining allows for easy layering over heavy jumpers, blocking out harsh wind and rain.
Versatile Removable Insulation
To handle changing climates, this coat features a removable plaid liner that adds a layer of warmth in freezing temperatures. Sturdy gold-plated brass buttons run the front, each stamped with the traditional navy fouled anchor. Angled handwarmer pockets and an internal pocket keep your essential gear safe.

This item was used by the German Navy during the Modern (2000–Present) and is in Grade 1 condition. It is in very good condition with plenty of life left. We recommend giving it a wash before wearing.
