Francoist Era Military Heritage
Issued to the Ejército de Tierra during the mid-20th century, this service belt served Spanish ground forces for decades. The stamped metal plate buckle features the historic Eagle of Saint John with an open crown and the Cross of Santiago at the centre. This iconic pattern remained standard issue from the Spanish Civil War and post-WW2 period straight through to the 1970s.
Full-Grain Leather & Clasp System
The belt is made from 50mm (2-inch) wide black leather, built thick to support heavy pouches and equipment without sagging. Instead of traditional prong holes, it uses an internal friction slide pin mechanism on the reverse of the buckle. This allows seamless, stepless sizing adjustments to fit waists up to 48 inches (122 cm) while keeping the outer front face clean.
Supergrade Condition & Utility
Supplied in unissued Supergrade condition, the leather retains its strength and flexibility from storage. Dual leather keepers secure the loose tail neatly against the waist. It provides heavy-duty utility for bushcraft, workwear, and field carry, while offering period accuracy for Spanish Civil War and Cold War historical reenactors.

This item was issued to the Spanish Army during the Late Cold War (1961–1991) and remains in Supergrade condition. It is unissued original surplus, but may have minor dust or storage marks from warehouse storage. We recommend giving it a wash or airing it out before wearing.
