Cold War Military Heritage
These unlined utility gloves were first issued to French soldiers during the late Cold War for handling heavy equipment, combat operations, and driving duties. Made by French military contractors, they were designed to protect hands without adding bulky layers. The lightweight, 100% full-grain black leather allows soldiers to maintain high finger dexterity in active field situations.
Secure Fit and Grip
The gloves feature a durable, built-in hook-and-loop wrist strap on the underside. This allows the wearer to tighten the cuff easily, sealing out cold air, dust, and debris. This item was issued to the French Army during the Late Cold War (1961–1991) and remains in Supergrade condition. It is unissued original surplus, but may have minor dust or storage marks from warehouse storage. We recommend giving it a wash or airing it out before wearing.
