Bundeswehr Cold War Heritage
Issued to West German Army soldiers during the Cold War, this coat served as the official Bundeswehr Wettermantel. It replaced heavier all-wool greatcoats with a lighter build while maintaining formal military standards on duty.
Weather-Resistant Gabardine
The outer shell uses a tight polyester-wool gabardine weave that repels light rain and stops cold winds. A concealed fly front button closure blocks drafts across the chest, keeping foul weather locked out.
Split Thermal Lining
The interior features a split lining for warmth and easy movement. A plaid wool-blend lining insulates the lower body, while smooth satin across the upper torso lets the coat slide easily over thick underlayers.
Field Pockets & Cinch Belt
Designed for daily utility, the coat features an adjustable waist belt to seal in core heat and two deep slanted flap pockets to protect gear. A rear vent ensures full mobility during active wear.
