Originally issued to soldiers of the Czechoslovakian People's Army (Československá lidová armáda - ČSLA) as part of the M85 uniform system, this winter cap represents robust Eastern Bloc engineering. Each hat is preserved in pristine Supergrade unissued condition. It features a removable metal Czech shield badge on the front flap, capturing genuine military history.
Winter Insulation & Comfort
Built to combat biting central European winters, the outer shell is made from a tough 65% polyester and 35% cotton twill blend that resists wind and wear. The interior features a soft, quilted lining paired with dense, grey wool-pile fur trim. This high-density pile acts as an efficient thermal barrier, keeping the head warm during sub-zero outdoor activities.
Convertible Protective Design
For adaptable wear in shifting climates, the button-fastened ear flaps deploy quickly to shield the ears, jaw, and cheeks. This item was used by the Czech Army during the Late Cold War (1961–1991) and is in Grade 1 condition. It is in very good condition with plenty of life left. We recommend giving it a wash before wearing.
