These genuine German Army (Heer) shoulder boards signify the rank of Unteroffizier (Junior NCO). Worn on the standard service dress jacket (Dienstanzug), each board features distinct woven silver-grey tresse braid along the outer edges to clearly display rank authority in accordance with German military regulations.
Branch Colour Piping
Each shoulder strap incorporates coloured Waffenfarbe piping around the base edges, identifying specific service branches such as artillery, signals, or infantry. The dark grey wool-blend base fabric matches regulation tunic cloth, preserving the traditional military appearance established during the Cold War era.
Secure Uniform Attachment
Designed for rapid fitting and removal, each board includes an underside fabric mounting flap (Lasche) and a reinforced top buttonhole. The tongue slides neatly through uniform shoulder loops, locking firmly under the collar button without requiring any sewing or permanent alteration.

This item was used by the German Army during the Late Cold War (1961–1991) and is in Grade 1 condition. It is in very good condition with plenty of life left. We recommend giving it a wash before wearing.
