Post-War Service Heritage
Issued to Belgian Land Component forces during the Cold War, this pouch is based on British 1937 Pattern webbing. Soldiers carried ammunition for rifles such as the SAFN 49 and FN FAL, as well as the Vigneron submachine gun. Featuring original ABL markings, each pouch shows genuine service wear from active field training.
Heavy-Duty Webbing Construction
Built from thick khaki cotton canvas, the pouch protects gear against abrasive friction and tough outdoor conditions. A quick-release metal buckle secures the top flap for fast, one-handed opening when retrieving equipment. The rear features heavy-duty belt loops and attachment hardware designed to secure tightly onto standard utility belts.
Practical Field and Utility Use
The generous internal pocket measures roughly 28cm x 12cm x 7cm, making it ideal for bushcraft tools, first aid kits, or hunting essentials. The boxy shape holds its form well on webbing sets or rucksack straps. In Grade 1 used condition, it offers proven durability that easily outlasts standard commercial nylon pouches.

This item was used by the Belgian Army during the Early Cold War (1947–1960) and is in Grade 1 condition. It is in very good condition with plenty of life left. We recommend giving it a wash before wearing.
