Originally issued to Soviet Air Force (VVS) flight crews, this knitwear was designed for high-altitude insulation. Manufactured in March 1991 at the historic Podolsk Knitting Factory, it served MiG-21 and MiG-29 pilots facing freezing cockpit conditions. This Grade 1 unissued surplus carries the authentic Cyrillic paper tag as proof of its genuine military origin.

This item was used by the Russian Airforce during the Late Cold War (1961–1991) and is in Grade 1 condition. It is in very good condition with plenty of life left. We recommend giving it a wash before wearing.
