Post-War Military Heritage
Issued to the Yugoslav People's Army (JNA), this M59 shovel carrier was developed in 1959. Designed following German patterns, it carried US M1943 folding shovels supplied through the Mutual Defence Assistance Program. It is an authentic piece of Cold War equipment for historical collectors and kit displays.
Durable Leather Construction
Made from thick natural leather, this carrier uses heavy stitching and metal rivets at high-stress points. The open-back frame holds folding shovel blades firmly, while a dedicated leather strap with a metal stud fastener keeps the spade secure and protects surrounding gear from sharp metal edges.

This item was used by the Other Army during the Early Cold War (1947–1960) and is in Grade 1 condition. It is in very good condition with plenty of life left. We recommend giving it a wash before wearing.
