The German Flecktarn Field Shirt is standard-issue combat apparel used by the German Bundeswehr.
Bundeswehr Heritage and Camouflage Design
First fielded by the German Bundeswehr in 1990, the five-colour Flecktarn camouflage pattern uses a dithered spot arrangement to disrupt body contours in temperate forest environments. Originally developed through West German trials in the late 1970s, this shirt (officially known as the Feldbluse) replaced solid olive uniforms to provide concealment in woodland terrain.
Practical Storage and Rugged Hardware
Built for field durability, the shirt features a front zipper reinforced by a heavy-duty snap-fastened storm flap that seals out dirt and wind. Two spacious chest pockets and a left sleeve utility pocket offer quick-access storage secured with durable press-studs, while a velcro loop strip over the left breast allows easy attachment of rank or name patches.

Constructed from a tough 65% cotton and 35% polyester blend, the fabric combines breathability with high tear resistance. Underarm ventilation eyelets maintain airflow during intense movement, and hook-and-loop adjustable cuffs let you seal the sleeves against insects or debris. This item was used by the German Army during the Late Cold War (1961–1991) and is in Grade 1 condition. It is in very good condition with plenty of life left. We recommend giving it a wash before wearing.
