This genuine Greek Army M56 webbing set is a complete seven-piece tactical load-carrying system.
Cold War Origin
Officially designated as the M1971 Load Carriage System, this webbing was manufactured in Greece during the Cold War. The Hellenic Army developed this gear as a direct copy of the American Vietnam-era M1956 Load-Carrying Equipment (LCE). It served front-line Greek infantry units from 1971 until the late 1980s, proving its reliability across rugged Mediterranean terrain.
Complete Load-Carrying Kit
The system is made from heavy-duty cotton canvas built to endure military trials. It includes a reinforced pistol belt, padded H-harness suspenders, two ammo pouches, a plastic canteen inside a felt-lined cover, a first aid pouch, and a field pack. This cotton webbing distributes weight comfortably across your waist and shoulders.

This item was used by the Other Army during the Late Cold War (1961–1991) and is in Grade 1 condition. It is in very good condition with plenty of life left. We recommend giving it a wash before wearing.
