Military Origin and Pattern
First introduced in the 1980s as the Pantalón de Instrucción y Campaña M-82, these trousers served as standard issue for the Spanish Army (Ejército de Tierra). Designed during Spain's NATO integration era, the solid olive green shade provided effective concealment across Mediterranean terrain while maintaining a clean appearance for daily garrison duties.
Field-Ready Technical Construction
Built from a hard-wearing cotton twill weave, the construction handles heavy contact with brush and coarse ground. The trousers feature double-layered reinforced knees to prevent wear when kneeling, along with a traditional button fly and wide belt loops to accommodate heavy military utility belts.
Practical Pocket Layout and Ankle Closure
The storage layout combines two deep front slash pockets, two rear flap pockets with button closures, and two wide thigh cargo pockets. Integrated elasticated ankle cuffs create a tight seal around field boots, keeping out insects, mud, and trail debris during long treks or outdoor work.

This item was used by the Spanish Army during the Late Cold War (1961–1991) and is in Grade 1 condition. It is in very good condition with plenty of life left. We recommend giving it a wash before wearing.
