Cold War Combat Heritage
This genuine Austrian Bundesheer field jacket, officially designated as the Feldjacke I from the classic Anzug 75 combat uniform system, was introduced in 1975. Designed for alpine soldiers facing freezing winds, it is built with a double-layered 65/35 polycotton blend. This tight weave creates a natural barrier against harsh wind and light rain without needing a separate liner.
Built for Tough Terrain
Every detail of this parka serves a survival purpose. The concealed button-down flaps on the four main cargo pockets prevent snagging on thick branches. A heavy-duty metal zip is protected by a wide buttoned storm flap to block biting drafts, while the adjustable cuffs and dual waist drawcords let you trap body heat. This item was issued to the Austrian Army during the Late Cold War (1961–1991) and remains in Supergrade condition. It is unissued original surplus, but may have minor dust or storage marks from warehouse storage. We recommend giving it a wash or airing it out before wearing.
