This genuine Italian Army olive green field jacket is a classic lightweight Cold War combat layer.
Cold War Heritage
Historically known as the Modello Roma 75, this jacket was introduced in 1975 as the standard uniform for the Esercito Italiano (Italian Army). It saw active service through the late Cold War. The sewn-on collar star insignia is the traditional 'Stellette' symbol of national military service, giving the jacket its classic Italian style.
Built for the Field
This jacket is made from a tough, lightweight poly-cotton blend designed to protect you from wind and light rain. It features a button front hidden behind a protective snap-shut wind flap. For extra durability when you are crawling or working, the elbows are reinforced with double-layer fabric panels so they do not wear through.
Elasticated Waist & Pockets
What makes this jacket special is the built-in elastic front waistband. This gives it a smart, tapered fit that keeps out cold drafts without needing tight drawstrings. You also get four spacious cargo pockets with snap-flap closures. These are perfect for carrying your phone, keys, or outdoor tools when you are out in the woods.

This item was used by the Italian Army during the Late Cold War (1961–1991) and is in Grade 1 condition. It is in very good condition with plenty of life left. We recommend giving it a wash before wearing.
