Cold War Military Provenance
Originally issued to the German Bundeswehr during the Late Cold War, these boots formed part of the standard NBC protective kit. Produced by military contractors under NSN 8430-12-322-4497, they were built to shield soldiers against chemical agents and foul weather while fitting seamlessly over standard issue leather combat boots.
Front-Zip Waterproof Design
Engineered for speed, a heavy-duty front YKK zipper runs down to the instep for quick entry. A continuous interior rubber bellows gusset backs the zip, creating a watertight seal up to the 31cm collar. The durable vulcanised rubber outer repels liquid, mud, and grit while remaining flexible enough for prolonged outdoor use.
Anti-Slip Utility Tread
The flat, moulded outsole features a dense mini-cleat waffle tread that bites into wet grass, loose dirt, and slick tarmac without clogging with heavy clay. Marked antistatisch, the vulcanised sole resists petrol, motor oil, and mild chemicals, making it equally dependable for greasy garage workshops or messy garden landscaping.
