Issued to German Armed Forces personnel as part of the standard Bundeswehr shoe care kit (Schuhputzzeug), this brush is designed to keep leather combat boots serviceable in tough field conditions. Regular boot care was a mandatory duty for German soldiers to preserve leather longevity and maintain water resistance on duty.

This item was used by the German Army during the Late Cold War (1961–1991) and is in Grade 1 condition. It is in very good condition with plenty of life left. We recommend giving it a wash before wearing.
