This original Czech M60 canvas backpack is a genuine piece of Cold War military issue field gear.
Cold War Combat Heritage
This vz. 60 rucksack was designed for the Czechoslovak People's Army during the Cold War. Heavily influenced by German mountain trooper packs, the teardrop shape is engineered to keep the center of gravity close to your back. This ensures stability and comfort when navigating rough terrain on foot.
Robust Canvas & Modular Storage
Available in a Type 1 lightweight weave or a Type 2 heavy-duty canvas, this pack resists harsh field abrasions. The main compartment is divided internally to organize your gear. Dual external pockets with secure straps provide fast access to essential outdoor tools without opening the main compartment.
Original Y-Strap Harness
The pack includes a removable canvas and leather Y-strap system. Designed to distribute load weight across your shoulders and hook onto a load-bearing belt, this classic combat suspension prevents shoulder fatigue. Side and bottom loops let you lash extra bushcraft gear, like a bedroll or shelter.

This item was used by the Czech Army during the Late Cold War (1961–1991) and is in Grade 1 condition. It is in very good condition with plenty of life left. We recommend giving it a wash before wearing.
