Cold War Soldier's Chlebak
This original Polish Army bread bag, officially designated as the wz. 986/MON, was the standard field haversack of the late Cold War era. Made in Poland during the 1980s, this durable bag carried a soldier's daily rations and personal equipment. It offers a genuine piece of Warsaw Pact military history, preserved in pristine, unissued warehouse condition.
Canvas Construction & Layout
Built from heavy-duty cotton canvas, the bag features a rugged weave that resists abrasions and trail wear. The interior is divided into two spacious compartments, complete with snap-button pockets and a moisture-resistant vinyl liner. This item was used by the Polish Army during the Late Cold War (1961–1991) and is in Grade 1 condition. It is in very good condition with plenty of life left. We recommend giving it a wash before wearing.
