Cold War Combat Heritage
Originally issued to the National People's Army (Nationale Volksarmee) of East Germany, this strap was a core component of the soldier's field kit. It served as a versatile carrying method for the Sturmgepäck (combat pack) and special equipment bags. Woven from heavy-duty Steingrau nylon webbing, it is engineered to resist water and abrasion in challenging field conditions.

The strap features a sliding metal buckle that adjusts from 32 to 52 inches, allowing you to find the ideal hanging height. This item was used by the German Army during the Late Cold War (1961–1991) and is in Grade 1 condition. It is in very good condition with plenty of life left. We recommend giving it a wash before wearing.
