This is an original pair of British Army 37 Pattern Webbing Straps.
Wartime Issue and Markings
Issued as standard load-carrying kit during World War Two, these utility straps secure gear to haversacks and large packs. Each strap features genuine wartime inspection stamps and manufacturer markings, showing authentic British military service.
Heavy Cotton Canvas Build
Made from tightly woven pre-shrunk cotton webbing, these straps will not tear or stretch under heavy loads. The heavy-duty canvas resists friction and dirt, making them reliable for tough field environments and authentic British loadouts.
Brass Fittings and Utility
Each strap measures approximately 120cm and features corrosion-resistant brass end tips that prevent fraying and slip smoothly through metal buckles. Ideal for securing bedrolls, kit bags, or completing your historical field equipment.
Complete your vintage kit bag or period field gear with this authentic surplus strap pair.
This item was used by the British Army during the WWII (1939–1945) and is in Grade 1 condition. It is in very good condition with plenty of life left. We recommend giving it a wash before wearing.
Grade 1 represents solid, fully functional military surplus that has been deployed or issued but remains in great usable condition with plenty of life left.
- Functionality: 100% field-ready. All main zippers, press studs, drawstrings, and buckles work as intended with no critical faults.
- Fabric & Wear: Structurally sound with light cosmetic wear, minor abrasion, or subtle fading from normal military use and laundering.
- Markings & Personalisation: May feature soldier names, unit numbers, service markings, or light depot stamps written on tags or fabric.
- Repairs: May include neat, professional military-standard stitches or minor reinforcement patches that do not compromise gear integrity.
- Storage & Cleanliness: Gear is serviceable straight out of the box, though a standard initial wash or airing is recommended to clear typical military surplus storage scent and minor handling dust.
