The Greek Army 37 Pattern Small Pack is an original military surplus haversack built for field utility.
Post-War British Webbing Design
Manufactured during the 1950s, this pack is the Hellenic Army adaptation of the classic British 1937 Pattern web equipment. It retains the iconic rectangular profile and rugged cotton canvas construction, providing an open main cargo compartment without the internal canvas dividers found on wartime British issues.
Distinct Helmet Flap and Brass Fittings
A distinctive feature of the Greek variant is the top auxiliary flap with toggle fastenings, originally designed to lash a steel combat helmet or bulky kit to the exterior. Heavy-duty stamped brass buckles secure the main lid, while twin rear loop fittings allow seamless mounting to standard equipment belts.
Comfortable Field and Daily Carry
Each pack includes an adjustable shoulder strap with padded section, making it easy to carry as a vintage satchel or bushcraft side bag. Measuring approximately 28 x 23 x 13 cm, it offers the ideal compact capacity for carrying rations, tools, mess tins, and day-hike essentials.

This item was used by the Other Army during the Early Cold War (1947–1960) and is in Grade 1 condition. It is in very good condition with plenty of life left. We recommend giving it a wash before wearing.
